God is real. He is moving, speaking, changing, and active in the world around us and in our lives. It’s easy to get lost in the news today and feel hopeless, to see the fallen world we live in and doubt. He Moves is a space to capture the stories of God moving. Whether that’s through personal daily blogs on what God is showing me or others in our daily walk, or a larger story about how a person has experienced the love of Christ through an experience or ministry. I pray that the testimonies and works written here prove it undeniable that God is moving, even today.
A Little About Me
My name is Jalin Cerillo, the creator and author of He Moves. Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for writing and storytelling. When I began growing in my faith, I knew I wanted to find a career or space to bring both passions together.
It was when I stepped onto my college campus for the first time, just touring the school, that I came up with He Moves. It became my dream. I wholeheartedly believe that my experiences in college have prepared me for this calling, and I can’t wait to step into it. So, finally, post-grad at 24, I’m taking the first step and starting this site. I have felt stuck in my walk for the last three years, and I haven’t felt inspired to write since school. I want to fall in love with writing again, so I’m going back to where it started, writing with and for God.
My prayer is for these stories to be true testimonies, to accurately portray God’s works clearly, and to give Him glory and praise through this. I pray that these stories, poems, blogs, or excerpts provide any reader with hope, renewed or encouraged faith, and a deeper understanding of God. My hope is for more people to know that God is here today, He is for you, and He is working in your life.
